COVID-19: HOW WORRIED SHOULD WE BE?

It looks like winter will be tough this time around. The number of people affected by the epidemic is rising across the UK, our daily summer restrictions are already being tightened, hospitals are feared to be overcrowded and political and scientific controversies over the epidemic continue.

There is always a constant flow of information that can be confusing.

So let's talk in a straightforward and easy way. How are we doing, is this the return of spring and how concerned should we be?

The Covid Virus is still mostly less serious:
It should be noted that most people recover from covid and it is often a non-serious disease. The main symptoms are cough, fever and loss of sense of smell and most people recover at home.An estimated 1 to 3 percent of those infected with the virus need hospital treatment.
But it is more deadly than the common flu:
Due to contact with the Covid virus, the infectious death, is approx 0.5 Percent. In other words, one in every 200 infected people dies.
While the common misconception that covidd is similar to a seasonal flu infection is five to 25 times more deadly.
As between 0.02% and 0.1% of people infected with the flu die.
Some People are More at Risk:
People of any age can die from covid infection, but the risk of death is higher in old peoples.
Only a small proportion of people under the age of 45 years die from the virus, but the risk increases significantly after the age of 65 years.
Elderly People are more prone to death due to Covid:
And people with other health problems, such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease, are also at higher risk. This risk is even higher in certain ethnic groups.
The Number of Victims of Covid-19 is Increasing:
The statistics tell a serious story.
The number of cases is increasing day by day with more people admitting to the hospital on daily basis. Along with increasing death rate.
At the height of the epidemic, 3 thousand people were hospitalized every day.
It's a Matter of its fastness:

It is presumed that the issue would eventually overcome the National Health Service's  OverallCapacity. If that happens, more people will die from covid and other causes, as there will be a severe shortage of hospital beds and doctors.
